Executive Director of Alumni Affairs and Director of the UK Alumni Association
Stan is responsible for all administrative and financial operations of the UK Alumni Association. He received his BA in education from the University of Kentucky in 1972 and his MA in education from Murray State University in 1977. His wife, Mary Jane '72, is a retired public school teacher and currently teaches sixth grade at Lexington Christian Academy. They have two sons who are both graduates of UK, Ryan '00 and Neil '04.
Administrative Assistant/Event Coordinator
Nancy works with the Board of Directors, maintains human resources and payroll, coordinates King Alumni House rentals, manages athletic ticket distribution and promotes Institutional Effectiveness. In her spare time, Nancy works with her family showing cattle and horses and likes to read and go antiquing.
Diana is responsible for the association's accounting management. This includes preparation and presentation of financial reports to the Association's Board of Directors and year-end reports to the University. She is also responsible for reviewing all receivables/payables, maintaining account charts, personnel records and correspondence files. Diana comes to us from the Markey Cancer Center Foundation where she was the administrator for 15 years. Her hobbies are gardening and reading.
Associate Director for Clubs and Programs
Jill joined the UK Alumni Association in February 2006. She is a 2005 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Kentucky with a BBA in Marketing and Management. Jill directs the association's programming area. This includes alumni clubs, college affiliates, special events, travel, institutional effectiveness, and constituent relations. Prior to working at the Association, Jill served as an Admissions Counselor at the University, where she was responsible for recruitment efforts in the western Kentucky area. She also spent four years as a student assistant in the Media Relations Department of UK Athletics. Jill enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as sports, taking pictures, and traveling.
Staff Support Associate II
Alyssa is responsible for maintaining files for all clubs as well as managing and coordinating alumni club and the program area event announcements. She will also be handling reservations for association programs, maintaining the online events calendar and club information on Web site pages. Additionally, she will be the staff contact for the Alumni Service Awards Committee. Alyssa received a BA in Communication Studies from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. She is an avid sports fan, enjoys running and played collegiate rugby.
Alumni Program Coordinator
Megan will be assisting with club programming and coordinating the alumni club scholarship program. She will also coordinate and assist with programs pertaining to college affiliates, constituent groups, students and alumni student recruitment. Additionally, she will be the new staff contact for the Group Development Committee. Megan graduated cum laude from UK with a BA in Communications. Prior to joining the Alumni Association, Megan worked for ABC Sports and ESPN as part of their remote production team and was nominated for a sports Emmy with the network coverage of college football. She also spent time with the UK Public Relations Office, planning several stops on UKís ĎDream Tourí, served as the Public Relations contact for three academic colleges, and was the first student editor of UK News. As a student, she was involved in Student Activities Board and Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. Megan enjoys playing soccer, attending sporting events and spending time with family and friends.
Associate Director for Communications and Editor
Liz sets the strategic agenda for communicating with alumni through the alumni Web site at www.ukalumni.net and the Kentucky Alumni magazine for members. Liz received a bachelor of arts degree in journalism in 1968 and a master's degree in communications in 1976, both from the University of Kentucky.
Managing Editor, Kentucky Alumni
As managing editor of Kentucky Alumni, Linda Perry is responsible for the day-to-day logistics to produce the UK Alumni Association's quarterly magazine. She earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from UK in 1984.
Kelli manages the associationís non-dues revenue income including affinity partnerships, sponsorship, and print and online advertising. She also manages the associationís online store, KentuckyGear.com. In addition, she produces specialty alumni publications and media publicity plans for alumni programs and services, and writes news releases and contributes to Kentucky Alumni magazine. When not working, she enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and watching sports.
Albert graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BS in computer science and currently studying for his MS. He manages www.ukalumni.net and www.kentuckygear.com. Albert enjoys playing basketball and spending time with family and friends.
Senior Graphic Designer
Jeff is responsible for the design and production of all print collateral for the UK Alumni Association, including Kentucky Alumni magazine as well as all membership and club materials. Prior to joining the UK Alumni Association, Jeff worked for three years with Host Communications as director of graphic design, and six years with Hammond Design Associates in Lexington. A resident of Winchester, KY, Jeff enjoys woodworking in his spare time, as well as traveling and spending time with his wife and two children.
Associate Director of Alumni Information Services
John supervises the records department, which is charged with maintaining over 285,000 records of UK Alumni and non alumni members of the UK Alumni Association. He also supervises the alumni information services department, which is responsible for maintaining and upgrading the desktop hardware and software of the UK Alumni Association staff, administering the security of our internal network, maintaining compliance with UK computing policies, administering the Online Community, and overseeing phone and fax services. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and pets and gardening, jet skiing, camping and fishing.
IS Tech Support
As a member of the information systems and records department, Randall manages the computer network and infrastructure for the Alumni Association. He also writes Web-based programs and researches and implements new technologies.
Senior Data Entry Operator
Darlene is currently senior data entry operator in the records department. In addition to working at the association she also works a part-time job and is currently enrolled at Lexington Community College. Darlene volunteers with several community organizations and is active in her church. Away from work, she enjoys spending her time with her two daughters and five grandchildren. She stresses the importance of family and friends. She is a woman on the go and never sits still.
Records Data Entry
Brenda is the senior member of the data entry team having 25 plus years of service. She is also the records historian having researched the history of degrees and majors offered at UK since the first graduating class of 1869. She also updates records with athletic, fraternity/sorority and other organizational information, records marriages and unfortunately, alumni who have passed on. Her hobbies include crocheting, learning Spanish and collecting black and white cows, evident in her office.
Data Entry Operator
Frances has been with the association since April 2000. She devotes most of her time processing address changes from alumni membership, publications, clubs and college mailing returns. In her time away from work, Frances enjoys spending time with family and friends, working in her garden and reading.
Associate Director for Membership and Programs
Melissa has been with the association since 2003. She has a BBA in marketing from UK, an MBA from Morehead State University, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in higher education. Melissa is responsible for directing all membership activities, including new member attainment and retention, non-member marketing, student memberships, and the Wildcat Society. In addition, she oversees association programs including student programming, scholarships, reunions, homecoming, events, travel, career services, and the Legacy Initiative. She enjoys spending time with her husband Kevin and daughter Hannah.
Gretchen is responsible for association programs including student programming, scholarships, reunions, homecoming, travel, career services, and the Legacy Initiative. She has been with the association since July 2004 and is a 2003 UK graduate with a bachelor's degree in hospitality management. Gretchen is currently working on her masterís degree in sports administration. She has two nephews and two nieces that she enjoys visiting, and also likes spending time with friends, reading, and watching sports.
Account Clerk III
Linda has been with the UK Alumni Association since 1972 and is experienced in many areas, having worked various positions during her many years at the association. Lindaís primary responsibility is to process all membership dues and Wildcat Society gifts for the association. She also updates alumni records, processes legacy information, and manages historical dues. In her free time, Linda enjoys hiking around the state, crafts, and spending time with family and friends.
Member Services and Event Coordinator
Leslie oversees the UK Alumni Associationís front desk and customer service operations, as well as the Member Discount Program and member events. Leslie also serves as the staff advisor for the associationís student group Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow (STAT). She has been with the association since 2006. Leslie has two boys that keep her busy outside of work. In her spare time, Leslie enjoys outdoor activities, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Brynn has been with the association since January 2008 and works at the front desk where she answers the telephone and assists visitors and processes membership requests, reports and acknowledgements. Brynn also provides support for a variety of events and programs and manages membership tabling drives for the association and its student group STAT. Brynn is a 2004 graduate of the University of Kentucky, with a BA in interior design. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves to travel.
